Purrfect Playtent Portable Catio

We are working with a colony of cats in a sort of private cat rescue effort, and we needed a place to isolate a few cats at a time so they can recover from being neutered or spayed. I love it that this little tent can be set up inside, which is where we have it. We carry the cats straight to the tent from the vet, and we have a few boxes set around inside that they can get inside or on top of, plus a litter box, water pan, and food bowl. They are quite content with an overnight stay in a quiet place to sleep off their hospital visits! We also use it for kittens with colds, as we can place a space heater and humidifier just outside the tent so that they can have a warmer place to sleep and moister air until they recover. When they're feeling a little sick, they love to be in the tent. I have given it four stars only because the tent zipper is a bit of a design flaw--it would be better if there were two zippers that could meet in the middle, as it's hard to unzip far enough to place something in the tent without one or more cats getting out if they're so inclined. I am also wondering if the sleeves for the tent poles would wear very well if one takes this tent down and puts it up very many times. I expect some of these features have been changed in the newly redesigned tent. I am very grateful for this one, though--it's a wonderful thing to have. Little kids would love to sleep out in this tent, too! It's quite spacious and would hold an adult as well.

Small improvements as we have 2 cats. A small piece of fabric to step on to do up the zipper one handed. We take the cats out one at a time. Plus a double zipper to be able to lock the zipper so we can leave the campsite for a few minutes and not worry someone will take our cats! Great design though. Thanks again!

It took just a few minutes for my cat to adjust to it and then she laid down and relaxed enjoying the outdoor sights and sounds. Now she stands at the door begging me to take her outside. I wish it was a green color instead of black but other than that it's excellent. Quality is great too. I wish they used this assembly technology in camping tents as well. It's so easy to set up and take down. It only takes seconds to do. I have recommended it to my friends and family.

We needed a solution to keep our cat safe and contained (roof so he would not jump out) as he recovered from a damaged knee ligament. The Purrfect Playpen is an excellent choice and the product has worked very well and provided the durability, ease of use, with plenty of space to keep our cat relegated to one spot as he recovered. The space is large enough to place a cat bed, liter box, food & water dish with plenty of lounge space for our pet. The Purrfect Playpen is awesome and looking forward to having our cat join us outdoors on the deck.

THe tent provides a safe environment for the cats to enjoy the outdoors. Our cats have become creative in how to open the zipper so we have had to re-enforce the zippers to prevent them from getting out. Otherwise, really like the tent and highly recommend it to others.

The tent is sturdy, great quality and can be put up or taken down in seconds. This is exactly what I needed for my elderly bunny who's mobility is reduced but still enjoys being outside for a few hours each day in the summer. I cut the bottom out of the tent so he could feel grass under his feet and continue to nibble on it as usual. He's safe from the numerous large birds of prey we have in our area and still gets his outdoor time in the summer. Really happy with my purchase.
