Our cat fence kit includes the ideal number of posts for the fencing kit you purchase UNLESS you plan on making multiple turns or have changes in grade. Here are a few guidelines for posts: Posts may be positioned no more than 4m from each other. You need to position a post at every point you want the fence to turn/make a corner. You need to position a post where any grade change occurs.
We highly recommend that you use the above parameters to mark the location of each post you will need to install for your enclosure so you will know if your installation requires additional posts.
Additional posts and all the associated components needed for a post (sleeve, arch, etc) are available in our new PostKit.
Post Kits
Our Post Kit contains all the components necessary for complete post assemblies. Although we have always sold additional posts individually through direct phone sales, the new Post Kit offers an easier and less expensive alternative to purchasing all the necessary components individually.
Our Post Kit contains all the components necessary for (1) complete post assemblies: (1) Spring-loaded Arms (1) Sleeves (1) Standard Post (1 parts each) and all associated hardware. If you select a 2 post kit then you would receive 2 of each of the listed items above. If you select a 3 post kit then you would receive 3 of the items above, etc.
THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY FENCE OR WELDED WIRE. THE POST KIT IS AVAILABLE TO ADD POSTS TO SPECIFIC LAY-OUTS THAT REQUIRE MORE POSTS.Share
I had built and enclosure at our old house. It took 3 months to build all the frames, the gate, put a roof on it, and frankly I was ugly. Our escape artist found a way out in about 30 minutes. Purrfect Fence went up in one day and none of our cats have made it more than about 4 feet up the fence before jumping back down. They also have twice as much space as before and it feels like more because there is no screen above them. We even have trees for them to climb inside the enclosure that don't come near the fence where they might jump out. When we decided to change the design, we ordered a few more posts and it was done in a couple of hours. Customer service has also been great in advising us what problems to avoid. I could not have asked for a better solution!
The system has been well thought out to support cats being able to be outside and be safe. And the black makes it so it doesn’t detract from the landscape. We chose a big area and we were able to follow the directions. Our soil was hard so it was a more difficult installation, but we got it done ourselves and we’re very happy with it. The gates were fairly easy to install. The videos really helped. It feels like quality material that will really last. We now have so much more peace of mind knowing our cats are safe from cars and predators - we live in an area with a lot of coyotes, cougars and bears.
Now the snow will not collapse the fence. Since it is not on level ground, I needed more posts.
I Love Purrfect Fence Products
I live in an area where coyote are prevalent. I enclosed my entire yard to create a large catio/safe space. It is also prevents wildlife from coming in and contains my dog as well. This has worked very well so far. Easy to install and supplies provided were both quality and spot on for what was needed to complete the job.
Worked like a charm & has even held up against multiple storms that have hit my area over the last 2 months with ZERO damage or repair needs!
